This is a call for papers for the Equalsoc and ECSR joint Summer School which will take place on 31 August-5 September 2009 at the Conference Centre Panorama, Trento.
The Equalsoc and ECSR joint Summer School will be devoted to the analysis of both theoretical and empirical aspects of the educational inequalities and the impact of education on social inequalities that form part of several ongoing debates.
The lectures and afternoon sessions will be in English.
Interested PhD students should apply through the Equalsoc website and applications should include:

Please note that the deadline for application is 15th of June 2009.
Admitted PhD students should e-mail their full papers in a pdf format to [email protected]
The full paper must be received by 31 July 2009.
All admitted PhD students will be granted of stay expenses by Equalsoc funds. Those coming from Equalsoc institutions will be also refunded their travel expenses, provided that they do not exceed 350.00 €.
